if you think nude shorts is new think again
I hear some well-meaning people are objecting to the adjective “nude” as a colour and maybe they have a point. It does kind of constitute the opposite of that other famous “n” word.
But let’s not get into that here. If we took Jane Russell’s advice in this song then the world would definitely be a better place and people who declared their love for each other wouldn’t be imprisoned.
So enjoy the philosophy, enjoy the view and remember if you hold on to that dated garment long enough it will be back in fashion.

just watched “cabaret” this film really hasn’t dated. and I love the philosophy of this title song, which comes at the end of the film by the way, a sort of summary of the life of sally bowles

drift-wood merry-go-round
Paris is full of surprises. The park near me today was into re-cyling. I love this human powered merry-go-round made entirely from pieces of drift-wood.It’s a french theatre group who thought up the project, they are called “le spectacle Bestiaire Alpin”, the kids seem to like it too.
